![]() Granted, like I said, I only played the prologue and it was a long time ago so I'm not exactly sure what kind of gameplay I'll want.ĭo you want to link your mod here? Or I could look for it. I'll have to look at the details of what the mod does. I mean, I do play Dark Souls and stuff but I have to be in a certain mood for it. Cosmetic mods, mods that alter stamina usage, mods that lower or increase exp gain, quest rewards mods that alter the stat gains on HYBRID vocations, The World Difficulty mod I created won't affect your online rentability absolutely at all. If you use something that makes yoru pawn level or gain stats differently the system will block your pawn from being rented. You can mod your Arisen all you wish, won't hurt anything. Those are the only thing that prevent you having your pawn rented. The dates of the posts were kind of old and I figured people knew now since the game had been out for a long time.Īlright, time to make my beautiful female character and pretend I'm a woman for a few hundred hours! :DĪll you need to know for certain, is don't download and use anything that will affect your pawns stat increases. I realize that this is probably a frequently asked question, but when I googled it, I was seeing somewhat mixed responses. Those will stop your pawn being available to others. ![]() Things that modify levelling up, or setting otherwise unavailable skills, unlocking otherwise locked things, having illegitimate health, stamina or defences / damage etc. The mods you listed won't do anything, as it's all client side. Certain mods will stop your pawn from being available to others, but nothing will stop other people's pawns being available to you. and even in the tutorial at the beginning of the game (video 0 i linked) i am busy killing the tutorial npcs instead of letting them help me.Originally posted by Shard of Manus:No bans. Its also “westernish” as you can kill town npcs. it isn’t just a simple mmo style combat like many other “ARPG” games. i did a lets play from level 1 to 114 with ng+ x 5 and 2 speedruns (first one failed, second one succeeded) and lots of little side videos where i broke the game rules and had some fun.Īnyways combat is really unique in that you can grapple, climb throw and even knock big enemies down or off cliffs into water etc. I have like 100 videos of the game (i think i have 1400 hours on the game) up on steam / youtube if you wanna look at hwo the game plays. The PC release has everything including all of the DLCs all as one big package. Sorry if this is obvious answers I just haven’t slept in 40something hours and I’m just finding your short review confusing with steam info… When doing a search on steam only Dark Arisen shows up yet you said that’s the expansion how do I get the base game?Īnd I’m also more confused you make it sound like it’s an MMO but steam says it’s single player, can you please clarify. Oh ya also its only $20.00 for a totally immersive meaty game. However aiming is def better with a mouse. Right now I am using a mouse and keyboard. I think the controls may be better with a gamepad. Some of the quests can be misleading but you can counter that by reading.įast travel is there but it isn’t abundant in early game. The game can be very challenging when starting out. The graphics are from 2012 but it still looks decent on PC master race. The armor and weapon enhancing system is addicting. The landscapes are vast and filled with secrets. ![]() ![]() For instance if you choose a fighter and learn some strider augments or attributes you can later evolve your class into an Assassin which has new moves to learn. The classes flesh out into different classes based on what you level up. When you are synced online your pawn can help out other players and return with new experience and gifts for you. I then lace into them with precise arrow shots because aiming your bow is similar to FPS. I made a tanky Fighter to taunt and agro the enemy. For me ie: I am a strider which is basically like Legolas at the moment. You create your own follower to complement your class. The questing is very fun and rewarding, when you finish a quest you feel accomplished because the game is challenging for sure(not as much as Dark Souls). You can fight large monsters by actually climbing on them and slashing at their weaker points. Based on which class you pick you can either be a fast hitter a ranged guru or a magic casting beast. ![]()
